Emma Pearl 2013 Pinot Noir

John Wine Snob says:I don’t remember buying it, but I am glad I did. The Emma Pearl 2013 Pinot Noir from California was a delight. I threw some pork chops, apples, and baby asparagus on the grill and thought that a nice Pinot Noir would go well with all of this. I slathered the chops with some fig jam and hunted until I found this wine in the cave. As soon as I pulled the cork I knew it was the right choice. Mrs. Wine Snob and I both started thinking of chocolate covered cherries that someone sprinkled with a little black pepper. I think I will dare to say that this one, although a bit simple, was perfect with a simple meal, so it gets my full endorsement of 4 stars. About $4.
