John Wine Snob says:
Mrs. Wine snob and I drank a bottle of the Roule Rougé organic red (no vintage) in the back yard as the sun set. It is a nice pleasant back yard sort of wine. Nothing too complicated, but sort of pleasant with the hamburgers I threw on the grill. The juiciness of the burgers with their garlic, thyme, and salt was complimented by the richness of the fruit of this wine. It had a little tang at first, but after a little rest it gained some richness. It is not great, but situationally perfect. As the heat begins to crank up in Phoenix, complexity in a wine is not what I usually want. I will give this one 2.5 stars.
