Well…there is a debate in my head on how to review this wine. On one hand, it’s quite tasty, with dark rich berry flavors, but on the other hand , it’s a Pinot Noir that’s also too heavy and too over bearing. It has flavors of dried cherries, hints of chocolate and a calf skin finish with enough oak. There was also a bit of a green stem flavor with the finish. It’s also only $4. a glass at Fry’s !..So on one hand , it’s a great bargain ( The bottle is about $20. ) but on the other hand , it’s made in that heavier handed method of California Pinots.
