John Wine Snob says:
Let’s see what those Kiwis can do with a bottle of wine. The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (Sauvignon Republic) 2013 is a really good buy for about $8. It is really crisp and light, but at the same time there is a richness of unctuous green berries and a fresh grassiness. It has a slight effervescence that would make it a great seaside wine. We have no seaside so I wok fried a big pile of shrimp and ratatouille laced with lots of lemon. It went eyeball to eyeball with the strength of the lemon, so I am giving this light heavyweight fighter 3 stars. It was a knockout.
