Ahhh. For me it is getting to be Tempranillo season. It is my favorite summer red quaff. Paso a Paso (Hmmm…Dos Pasos???) Organic Tempranillo 2011 from Spain just hit the nail on the head. There is a great taste of red and black currants which brings back my memories of picking currants and wild berries in the late spring and early summer in Russia. There is that slight currant bitterness and bite on the tongue that is very pleasing. I think it has to get 3 stars.
