King Stag Pinot Noir 2012

John Wine Snob says:
Mrs. Wine Snob and I rented a cabin for Christmas in Pinetop, Arizona. We sat in front of a roaring fire and opened a bottle of King Stag Pinot Noir 2012 from California. We then moved to the kitchen to have a festive dinner of locally smoked ham and assorted cooked fruits and vegetables. I thought the wine was good by the fire, but it got even better with food. We had been for a long hike in the snowy forest earlier and this wine really soothed the little aches and warmed up the marrow. We thought it tasted a little dusty in a good way. It also had flavors of roasted nuts or even pop corn. It ended with a nice silk in the throat. I am going for it. 4.5 stars for this $10 bottle of love.king Stag
