Cruz Garcia Re’al Sangria

John Wine Snob says:
Sangria… OK, it is a nice summer drink. I was once in a Barcelona cafe under an umbrella in horrid heat stupidly eating a pepper steak and and papas frites. I ordered a pitcher of Sangria. As soon as it arrived, so did a cool sea breeze. It was magic. I have loved Sangria since, even though it is usually made from throw away wines. Anyway that memory led me to the Cruz Garcia Re’al Sangria. Mrs. Wine Snob and I had it with grilled salmon and an Armenian style haricot vert stew. Glasses filled with fruit and Sangria we ate and drank the cheap swill with disgusting pleasure. Not much can be said about this or any other Sangria. It is what it is what it is what it is.   2 stars.
