Burlwood Cellars Chardonnay 2011

John Wine Snob says:
It was a dark and stormy night at my brother and sister in law’s house. We opened a bottle of Burlwood Chardonnay 2011. With the sleet and cold outside it emitted a nice warmth for a Chard. There was a great whiff of roses when first popped the cork. The first flavors were of pears and peaches. We drank it with grilled chicken and pilaf with bits of dried fruit…nice pairing.
This one gets 2.5 stars

  1. Are you serious on the rating? This is an excellent table wine that doesn’t hurt your pocket and leaves your taste buds happily wanting more. I certainly hope you aren’t basing your judgement on expensive wines. This wine is very tasty. Take it from a woman who has 35 years wine search in the best of tastes with the least of costs. I give this wine a 4.00 on a scale of five for it’s taste parability to cookies, cheeses or sea food and steak.
