What would go really well with sand dabs? That is what I had at the Blue Water Grill last night, and Mrs. Wine Snob had a Parmesan coated tilapia. So there it was, the cheapest wine on the menu at $25. It was Grand Cru Sauvignon Blanc 2011 from Napa. Nice choice again. It could not have gone better with the fish, the bread, the beautiful Phoenix February night and patio table, and by the way, someone at blue Water Grill mixed a great selection of music. The Sauvignon Blanc was surprisingly bubbly. There was a lot of melon and citrus. The butteriness of the fish was countered very well by the sharp clean taste of the wine. Can we say 3 stars?
