John Wine Snob Says:
We decided to have a really exotic dinner with some really funky and smelly Romanian sausage called, miti and some braised cabbage. It stank up the house for days. I chose a La Parra Loca Tempranillo/Shiraz 08 from Spain that I bought at Fresh and Easy for about $8 to try to tame the wild thing. It was pretty civilized. It is a nice and smooth creamy wine that fought the good fight. It was the triumph of good over evil. The ruggedness of a Romanian peasant against the sophistication of a Spanish Patrician. It was a tough fight, but I think the Iberian topped the Balkan.
I will give it 3.5 stars.
