Dark Horse Cabernet 2010


John Wine Snob says:The Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 from Sonoma at first tasted like a dead horse, but then I kind of warmed up to it after it and I took a few deep breaths. I have had a steak du cheval a few times in my life in Luxembourg and some raw horse meat in Japan, and I am here to say dead horse meat isn’t so bad… but I digress. No, wait, I will digress again. The fried whale meat in Kobe Japan would have gone well with this wine. The $7.99 wine from Total Wine was juicy and bubbly. I drank it while sitting outside grilling hamburgers and being tortured by mosquitoes.This one gets two stars.

  1. Have you tried the Dark Horse sauv. blanc? I’m drinking a 2015 that I bought for $7.67. I like it.
