Rheigau Spatgurgunder Pinot Noir 2007

John Wine Snob says: I’m so confused!!! I bought a bottle of Rheigau   Spatgurgunder (you think that’s not German?) Pinot Noir 2007 for $11.99. First of all it seemed a lot younger. It had the feel of a Beaujolais Nouveau. It was much lighter and thinner than most Pinot Noirs. Although it did not, it seemed to have that Gamay taste one gets from a Beaujolais. It actually turned out to be a nice wine. My sister-in-law, Vicki, concurred. In hindsight I think it could have done with a slight chill. I will give this Hun 3 stars.
