Lagaria Pinot Grigio

I had a great afternoon with my Mom and cousin, Mary. We took in a terrific Civil War exhibition at the St. Louis History Museum and then had lunch at the Boathouse in Forest Park. I ordered a glass of Lagaria Pinot Grigio for $6.95 and had it with a tilapia reuben sandwich. It was a nice pairing. The Pinot Grigio had a fruitiness that reminded me a little of Riesling. It was a nice wine for one of those hot and humid St. Louis dead air Summer afternoons.                              I will give this one 3  stars for being in the right place at the right time.
