John Wine snob says:On New Years Day Mrs. Wine Snob and I opened a bottle of Zonin Prosecco Brut sparkling wine from Italy. It sells for about $5.99 so it is obviously not a complicated wine, but it is certainly nice for an al fresco breakfast. We made some mimosas and had some just by itself. It is cool and snappy and makes me want to dive into a vat of it. It was a great way to start the first day of 2012. It complemented Greek omelets with and Russian and Armenian sausages wonderfully. Some Indian naan, Arizona orange juice and sunshine with Japanese tea and South American coffee completed the trip around the world.
