John Wine Snob says:
It took me a while to figure out this odd wine from Germany. The Rheingau 2008 Pinot Noir was sort of a translucent red. The aroma was not terrible strong. When I tasted I did not think it was very Pinot-like. It had a slight sweetness to it and some apple-ish flavors. This wine did not impress me except for its not unpleasant but odd flavors. It was also not offensive.
I will give it a boring two stars.
