John Wine Snob says:
I never knew there was a winery in the heart of Los Angeles, so I bought a bottle of something called Cardinale from the San Antonio winery for $8.99 at Total Wine. It has been there since 1917. I have just opened it, and already I am a little suspicious. I smell Concord! I am about to taste it.
Oh, please someone help me!!!!!!!!!
That is my second least favorite wine ever. It really sucks really bad unless you like Welch’s Grape juice that had been sitting opened for a couple of days in the heat and got moldy. I should have known when it said to serve very cold on the bottle. I may gargle with old razor blades just to get the taste out of my mouth.
I just looked at their web site and they do not even have a vineyard anymore. Theirs was bought up by industrial businesses some years ago, so they get their grapes from other wineries.
San Antonio might make some other wines that are not bad, but this is certainly not the one.
Someone please ask me what is my least favorite wine ever.
I would give it zero stars. A goose egg. Nil. Nada. Rien. Нечево стояший.
