2010 Vola Pinot Grigio

Citrusy , Like a ground up Kumquat. Inexpensive like a 2 buck chuck but far better tasting. A great summer afternoon wine..and also a good cooking wine.

John Wine Snob says:

The Vola Trebbiano Pinot Grigio 2010 is just a plain nice white wine. Crisp like a Pinot Grigio should be and a little grassy an maybe a little smokey wood. It is also uneventful like most are, but at $1.99 a bottle at Trader Joe’s it is more than just a tgood bargain

  1. For $1.99 it’s a hell of a deal for a pick a nick basket !

  2. Not a huge fan of whites but LOVE this one! Can you suggest a wine similar to this one? I cannot get this wine as the Trader Joes near to me (Southern NJ) either don’t sell wine at all or do sell wine but don’t stock this one. My sis in law introduced me to it but she lives in NC. She can get it but often flies up here and tsk tsk the airlines won’t let her bring me a case!
